Host Pastor - Rev. Ralph Ramlochan Let's Worship Him! Points to Remember from Today’s Sermon - 28/09/2025 _Scripture Text: 2 Corinthians 10:5_ What is a strong hold? It is as a city that is fortified or heavily guarded. Something that is heavily guarded. 🟦The philosophy and traditions of men are contrary to the Word of God. We have to be careful and see if we are not holding to the traditional of men rather than the Word of God. 🟦If we as Christians believe these things, that is a dangerous place. We maybe believing God for answers, but at the same time we are holding to tradition, and many are in bondage and struggling and are wondering why. 🟦Jesus doesn’t need anyone to stand with Him, He alone is enough. When we change from our religion we leave the others behind. We cannot serve two masters at the same time. 🟦The devil has a way of forming certain things in our mind that block the Word of God. It is the Word that brings transformation. 🟦Vs 5. - These things are vying for our attention so that our attention will not be with God. The devil doesn’t want the Word to become a reality in our lives. 🟦….Bringing into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Your thoughts can run away with you if you are not careful. Let God’s Word be the focal point of your life. Let not other things supercede the Word in your life. When you meditate on the Word, you will have good success. 🟦What are some of the enemies we face? They are thoughts, imaginations, philosophies and ideologies. When it violates the precept of the Word of God then we have a problem. 🟦Rom 7:18 Many say trust your heart, what they really is the conviction of your heart. The convictions in your head stands on reasoning. Your heart most times is a leading from God. Paul spoke of the war in our flesh. He faced the same things you and I faced. God transformed him that he learned the things of God that we cannot live in the carnality of the flesh. 🟦We have to examine ourselves to see if we are allowing things to block the Word of God. We have bring every thought to the obedience of Christ. 🟦If you don’t obey you cannot punish disobedience. You have to be obedient. You will not have moral authority, if you do not obey and practice the Word of God. We must read the Word of God and ask the Holy Spirit for understanding. 🟦We are engaged in different warfare and we must treat with it accordingly. We cannot convince the enemy if we are not living according to the Word of God. The weapons of our warfare are not fleshy, but they are mighty through God to pull down strongholds. These things are inwardly. Each of us have our own battles to face. We have to hold on to the Word of God. We have to establish the Word of God in our lives. We need to examine ourselves daily to see if we are allowing things to push the Word of God out.
