Rather than pouring over all the technical details, I’ll show you a simple step-by-step recipe you can use to get out of Auto mode and start taking pictures in Manual Mode. What’s cool about Manual Mode is that is gives you creative control over the final shot. You can determine how bright or dark the photo should be. You can freeze fast action or capture some subject blur for a cool effect. You can determine how much of the scene should be sharp or out of focus. The possibilities are endless.
