click http://www.byerlynissan.com or call (502) 448-8222 If your vehicle is equipped with a power liftgate, you'll find the POWER LIFTGATE MAIN switch on your instrument panel. When this switch is in the OFF position the liftgate OPENER switch and the POWER LIFTGATE switch on the liftgate will not operate. When the switch is in the ON position you can open your liftgate using three different methods. You can push the POWER LIFTGATE switch on the instrument panel or you can push the liftgate OPENER switch on the liftgate. You can also open your power liftgate by pressing the POWER LIFTGATE button on the Intelligent Key® for more than one second. With each method, the hazard lights flash and a chime sounds. The liftgate will open, even if your doors are locked, if you use the instrument panel switch or your Intelligent Key®. Your liftgate will also close automatically if you push the switch on the instrument panel or the Intelligent Key®. To operate the power liftgate, your shift selector must be in PARK. If your battery is discharged and the power liftgate cannot be opened, remove this cover at the bottom of the inside of the liftgate. Beneath the cover is a lever. Move it to the right to open the liftgate. Please see your Owner's Manual for important safety information, system limitations and additional operating information.
