2007 - 2013 Nissan Altima 2.5 Liter - How to Replace the Valve Cover & Gasket: FULL Walk-through!
In this video, we will be changing the valve cover gasket on our 2007 Nissan Altima 2.5 liter QR25DE engine! After receiving many calls that the reason for oil showing up in the spark plug holes was because of leaking spark plug seals, we decided it was (finally) time to go ahead and change ours. The process is pretty straight forward and involves removing a couple of engine mounts after supporting the engine with a hydraulic jack chocked with some wood to prevent any oil pan damage! This procedure applies to cars with the 2.5 liter engine in the Nissan Altima, Sentra SE-R and Rogue. This provides all bolt sizes and approximate torque specifications when re-tightening.
