Hey guys, gals and everyone else. After yet another long absence I'm back. This time not with a Warhammer video but with a tribute/trailer/music video to one of my favourite videogames: Stellaris. I have sunk an absurd amount of my free time into this game since I got it as a birthday present a few years ago. Since then the devs (Paradox) and community have showered this game with love and attention in the form of updates, DLCs, mods, let's plays (shout out to Mahu's "Second Chance" series), guides and memes. I love this game and it's community (and that of the Paradox GSGs more broadly). I even was recommended this band (the fantastic Keldian) through the Stellaris subreddit. I've wanted to make this video for a while as a sort of "love letter" to the Stellaris devs and community but didn't get around to it until now. If you're already a fan then I hope you enjoy this video, if you're not a fan then hopefully this will convince you to check the game out. Technically, this is probably the most challenging video I've done since the majority of my previous videos are essentially slideshows edited in time to music while this one uses moving video clips. Fortunately that does mean applying less effects to each clip and instead mainly just trimming the length and slowing/speeding it up. Hopefully it has come out OK. The music is "The Last Frontier" by the band Keldian. The video footage has been ripped from various official Stellaris trailers for both the PC and console edition. As always, I do not claim ownership of either the images or the music in this video. I do not profit from this in any way.
