Project Hail Mary is an upcoming American science fiction adventure film produced and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller from a screenplay written by Drew Goddard, adapted from Andy Weir's 2021 novel of the same name. It is the first film directed by Lord and Miller since 2014's 22 Jump Street. The film stars Ryan Gosling (who is also a producer on the film), Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung, and Milana Vayntrub. It follows a man who awakens on an interstellar spacecraft with no memory of how he came to be there, before he realizes he is on a mission to save Earth.
