Wonokerto Beach, Pekalongan Regency, was crowded with thousands of tourists during the 2026 New Year's holiday. From morning until noon on Thursday (January 1, 2026), the number of visitors had reached around 5,000 and was estimated to reach 11,000 by the evening. This year's visitor enthusiasm increased significantly compared to previous holidays. Tourists took advantage of the New Year's holiday by playing on the beach, enjoying the ocean views, and exploring local MSME culinary delights. To ensure visitor safety and comfort, Wonokerto Beach management collaborated with the Wiradesa Police and Military District Command (Koramil), the Pekalongan Police, the Wonokerto Navy Post, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Bumi Santri Search and Rescue Team, and health workers from the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and the Wonokerto I Community Health Center. Interestingly, the entrance fee to Wonokerto Beach remains affordable. Entrance fees remain Rp5,000 per person, with parking for motorbikes Rp2,000 and parking for cars Rp4,000, with no price increase during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Wonokerto Beach is now equipped with various supporting facilities, including gazebos, culinary huts, prayer rooms, restrooms, and dozens of MSME stalls. In addition to being a tourist destination, Wonokerto Beach is also expected to become a marine tourism education platform for the community. 📍 Location: Wonokerto Beach, Pekalongan Regency 📅 Thursday, January 1, 2026 #WonokertoBeach #NewYear2026Holidays #PekalonganTourism #PekalonganBeach #NewYear2026 #BeachTourism #Pekalongan #PekalonganNews #Nataru2026
