"Red World" by saRy & IIINePtunEIII (Insane/Extreme Demon) [Geometry Dash]

Note: I was still coming off of being sick when I beat this, so my voice sounds a little off in this video. Sorry! :sob: Also this was done on vanilla GD. This level is currently the oldest rated Extreme Demon in the game. It was rated several years later, but it was released before every other current Extreme in the game. I decided to go for it when I tried it in practice out of curiosity and it ended up not really feeling all that difficult. And in my case at least, I ended up being right on that. In my opinion, this level is a bit too easy to be an Extreme. It's still a very hard Insane, sure, but I don't think it keeps up with levels like Acu or niwa. It's also currently the easiest level on the AREDL, although that list can be very inaccurate at times. I think this level mostly gets its difficulty from its inconsistency and horrible balancing rather than actually being hard, but at the same time the second half is deceivingly difficult even if it doesn't look like it, with the last ship being infamously easy to choke. However I ended up saying I wasn't about that life, and fluked both it and the swing part before it, after having several very stupid deaths to the ship before them. I was NOT expecting to fluke either of them, especially since I never fully got consistent with either in practice, and I thought with nerves I'd definitely mess them up at least a few times. But I guess anything is possible, so here we are with my new fastest Extreme completion, even though I don't think it's Extreme personally. As for whether I'd recommend this, obviously I got very lucky so my opinion is pretty heavily skewed, but this is by definition a bad level, and most people do not like it, so I wouldn't go for it if you know it would take you a while. And as for Red World Rebirth, I plan on giving it a shot next. From what I've played it seems to be more well-rounded, just at the cost of being harder. I can't guarantee anything but I will at least try to give it a shot.
