Top Chinese diplomat Yang Jiechi visits Japan

Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi began a two-day visit to Japan on Tuesday, marking his first trip to the country since he assumed the position in 2013. Yang and Yachi Shotaro, head of Japan’s National Security Council, will co-chair the second China-Japan high-level political dialogue, slated for Tuesday and Wednesday in Tokyo.
