FALL PUMPKIN HARVEST|| Gardening With A Green Witch In A Surprise Pumpkin Patch

Join me in the pumpkin patch as my pumpkin babies grow from flowers and tiny buds into gorgeous gourds, the biggest and most orange of which is all ready for harvesting. Amongst the leaves, these brilliant new green and yellow pumpkins are a joy to find each time they appear. MORE PUMPKINS! YAY! One even looks just like a small watermelon. I am over the moon about these beauties. Together, my pumpkins and I embrace every success and weather every failure, be it pollination, a plague of pests, or a downpour of rain. Relax and enjoy the gardening ASMR of chirping birds and merry gusts of wind as I visit my pumpkins every other morning. What was once just a pile of vines with the occasional orange flower has now blossomed into a thriving garden of small pumpkins. Five were happily growing rounder at last count and more buds keep appearing. Who knows what the future has in store for these stunning little squash plants. As the autumn season finally brings cold weather along with it, I put on my favorite rainbow beanie knit hat and starry sweatshirt, all set to take on the challenge of harvesting my first pumpkin of the year.
