The Final Cut | Crime | No Dialogue Short Film

“The Final Cut” is about a young criminal who is set to go on the run but when he’s ready to leave, his boss texts him, asking about the events of the night that had led him to this moment. This criminal recalls the events of the evening and proceeds to lie to his boss over and over again to cover up his tracks so that said criminal can walk away with the money. This short film was created for a college project that would test my experimental abilities. While it's not the greatest, it was pretty fun to create as with previous projects, dialogue is relied on a fair amount to push the story forward so to try and create something that strips that element away was interesting as this essentially becomes a silent film.
