In today's post, we are going to learn about an idol of Lord Vishnu that has been floating in the water for 1,300 years in Nepal. It is almost 9 kilometers from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal Jalananarayan (budhanilkantha) Temple is located. This temple is located at the foot of Shivapuri hill . this temple Also known as Jalanarayana Temple or Buddha Nilakantha Temple. In this most famous temple of Nepal, Maha Vishnu is depicted as Ananta Sayana Narayana Murthy reclining on Adhisana as if he had a school in the ocean of milk. This Jalanarayan statue is about 17 feet long. which is centered on a 43-foot-long pool of water. Designed for yogic sleep on the 11-headed Adisesha in an interlaced position. What is surprising is that this gigantic monolith of Jalanarayana Murthy, about 17 feet long, has been floating in the water for the past 13 centuries. Even though this idol is still floating, the arkhanas and abhishekams for it are happening every day. It is said that Ananta Sayana Narayana, who bathes in a natural spring, floats on the water to offer peace of mind to the devotees who seek him. According to history, the statue was erected by a king named Vishnu Gupta who ruled the region in the 7th century. How this statue was designed to float in water in the 13th century remains a mystery to researchers. Although the temple is dedicated to Vishnu, there is a reason why it is named after Lord Shiva. With Gosaigunda, the fountain leading to the pool where Lord Vishnu can recline in the Jala Narayan Temple Gosaikunda is attached. The holy lake Kosaikunda is said to have been created by Lord Shiva. This beautiful and holy temple is situated at the foot of Shivapuri hills in the community of Narayanthan Village. Located at the northern rim of the Kathmandu Valley, the temple is about 10 km away from the city. Likewise, the temple is 7 km away from the Ratnapark and is 9 km from Thamel street. இன்றைய பதிவில் நேபாள தேசத்தில் 1,300 ஆண்டுகளாக, நீரில் மிதந்தபடி இருக்ககூடிய பகவான் விஷ்ணுவின் சிலை குறித்து அறிந்துகொள்ளவிருக்கிறோம். நேபாளத்தின் தலைநகர் காட்மாண்டுவில் இருந்து கிட்டத்தட்ட 9 கிலோமீட்டர் தொலைவில் ஜலநாநாராயணர் (புத்தநீல்கண்தா) ஆலயம் அமைந்துள்ளது. சிவபுரி மலையின் அடிவாரத்தில் அமைந்திருக்கும் இவ்வாலயமானது ஜலநாராயணர் ஆலயம் அல்லது புத்த நீலகண்ட் ஆலயம் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. நேபாளின் மிகவும் பிரபலமான இவ்வாலயத்தில் மகாவிஷ்னு பாற்கடலில் பள்ளிகொண்டிருப்பதைப் போன்று ஆதிசேஷன் மீது சயணிக்கும் அனந்த சயன நாராயண மூர்த்தியாக காட்சிஅளிக்கிறார். இந்த ஜலநாராயணர் சிலை சுமார் 17 அடி நீளமுடையது. இது 43 அடி நீளமுடைய நீர் நிறைந்த குளத்தில் மையத்தில் உள்ளது. பின்னிப் பிணைந்த நிலையில் உள்ள 11 தலை ஆதிசேஷனின் மீது யோக நித்திரை கொள்ளுமாறு வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதில் ஆச்சர்யம் என்னவென்றால், சுமார் 17 அடி நீளமுடைய மிகவும் பிரமாண்டமான ஒற்றைக் கல்லாலான இந்த ஜலநாராயண மூர்த்தியின் சிலை கடந்த 13 நூற்றாண்டுகளாக நீரில் மிதந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறது. இந்த சிலை மிதந்தபடியே இருந்தாலும் இதற்கான அர்ச்சனைகளும் அபிஷேகங்களும் தினம்தோறும் நடந்தவாறே உள்ளன. இயற்கையான நீரூற்றின் மீது துயில் கொள்ளும் அனந்த சயன நாராயணர் தன்னை நாடி வரும் பக்தர்களுக்கு மன அமைதியை வழங்குவதற்காக இவ்வாறு நீரின் மீது மிதந்தவாறு காட்சி அளிப்பதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. 7 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டில் இப்பகுதியை ஆண்ட விஷ்ணு குப்தா என்ற மன்னர் இச் சிலையை நிறுவியதாக வரலாறு கூறுகிறது. 13 ஆம் நூற்றாண்டிலேயே நீரில் மிதக்குமாறு இந்த சிலை எவ்வாறு வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டது என்பது இன்றுவரை ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களுக்கு புரியாத புதிராகவே உள்ளது    • budhanilkantha temple history in tamil|jal...   Abishek Indradevan Bharatha Thamizhan பாரத தமிழன்
