Lynn McGill Death - 24 Season 5

Very sad scene where the Nerve Gas has gone off in CTU in which has killed poor old Edgar now is after Lynn McGill - he sacrifices himself and the guard does too in this scene to stop the Gas. This scene is what makes McGill a memorable character. He doesn't really have many other note worthy moments in his episodes. But they pulled off another awful death in Season 5.
