Alfredo Melies vs. Joey Avalon -- 9/2/23

Action was heating up when Academico Alfredo Melies challenged Joey Jet Avalon for the 8th Lucha Libre In The Park live event. Unity Park in Logan Square in Chicago, IL, was the setting for this clash as two alpha males slugged it out in the ring. Avalon tried to slow the pace of the action more than once to bully and hold down the opposition whereas Academico had totally different plans. Alfredo Melies actually stood up to Avalon and successfully hit several high flying body attacks including a couple from the top rope.
