Four beats to the bar, Northern Soul perfection, with Dee Dee's Diva vocal riding jingling vibes, rolling drums, bolstered by male vocal group choruses, and obligatory Motown inspired saxophone break bridge, as Gamble & Huff not for the first or last time match the Motown sound, this time using Kim Weston's Hitsville recordings as the blue print for their inspiration.
