President Donald Trump said that the U.S. economy is "growing almost twice as fast today as when I took office" in his second State of the Union address. He also said unemployment has reached a historic low, along with rates among African-Americans, Hispanics and Asian-Americans also reaching lowest levels. In fact, those trends among these minority groups are not a new economic gain. Unemployment rates among these groups have been trending downward or remained low for years.
