A playthrough of Kyo Kusanagi in Remix Pro V2.0 Final Hack of KOF '99 by EGCG/EGHT. So, finally, on to the next game. There won't be that many videos again until I start to get onto the Crossover games or the later KOF games. So this is KOF '99. Kyo and Iori disappear at the end of KOF '97 and so are unable at the start of this game. For the first time in the series we have secret bosses. If you get a certain score you fight Iori at the end, and if you get a certain higher score then you fight Kyo. Neither are particularly difficult, but it certainly helped to make the game a little more interesting, and both characters continued to be more esoteric throughout the next two sagas. The boss of this game, Krizalid, is one of my favourites but I won't be talking about him until his own video. Kyo isn't that much different in this game. He has a new hcb + K move which has some uses, as well as the ability to combo his qcf + C which was a nice addition, however the initial strike has been made much weaker which makes it less useful as a poke attack. Otherwise, apart from his new and very cool design, Kyo's mostly the same as before. Because he is technically the secret final boss of the game I thought I'd have his video first, and adding onto that the fact that he's a secret character meant that it would have been a bad idea to not include him and Iori. I wouldn't be doing many other Kyo playthroughs after this, so enjoy.
