New car collection videos are quite common on YouTube but I don't ever recall seeing one like this one! Thanks to social media I get to meet to people I otherwise wouldn''t and Tom and Ian Banks are a good example. I've been buying and selling interesting VW Group cars for 17 years now and buying cars from people like Tom's dad Ian is exactly what I started the business to do. The videos don't earn me any money (there are many costs involved that swallow up what little revenue comes in) but they help me become known to fellow enthusiasts which, as is the case here, will be mutually beneficial as we paid a little bit more than VW's part exchange price yet will still make a reasonable profit and have got an unusually good car in for stock. Please watch to the end as Ian's photo album from his trip to the Worthersee GTI festival is the highlight and is a brilliant insight into what the GTI meant back then. It was even a revelation to me as it took place 7 years before I got my first GTI (passed my test in 1994 and bought a Polo which if I squinted would look like a GTI!) The music is this track:    • Paint The Wall - Killrude (FUTURE BASS)
