[Daily Prayer] Monday, January 5 | Wonderful, Beautiful, Powerful Monday

Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you. (Isaiah 41:10) Father God, who lives and governs history, the new year of 2026 has dawned. As we welcome the first Monday of the new year of 2026, I offer a prayer of hope. Just as God created light on Monday and began the work of creating the heavens and the earth, may this first Monday be the beginning of creation. May the command given to Adam and Eve, the first humans, to "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. Subdue it. Have dominion over every living thing" be restored through us who are living in the end times. So may this new morning, this first Monday of the new year of 2026, be a wonderful day, a beautiful day, a powerful day. From the first Monday of the new year, let us distinguish between good and evil, so that, like the first humans, we may not lose sight of God's will, but may we live a day of fulfilling God's goodness. May we enjoy the blessing of God being with us, proclaim the glory of God being our God, and live a life in which God continually helps us.
