Minivan Camping Road Trip 2020, Part 5: Hiking Lily Pad Lake in Silverthorne, Colorado
My hike to Lily Pad Lake at the top of Ryan Gulch Road in Silverthorne, Co. It was a perfect weather day. I started out early because I had no idea how long the hike would take; besides, the parking lot was full every time I drove by it, so the earlier the better. A good trail with rocks, bridges, tree roots, and endless photo ops. Dozens of different kinds of wildflowers, including the state flower, Colorado columbine.
