SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. A 3-year-old was shot and killed in Simpsonville, Monday afternoon. Simpsonville police say the shooting happened around 2 p.m. at a home on Garfield Lane. When they arrived, Michael Kyron Boyles, 3, was found fatally shot in the head. Police say a handgun was used during the incident. No suspects are being sought at this time and there is no danger to the public. According to police, the child's mother said she was in living room with 2-year-old son when she heard gunshot and found 3-year-old son's body in bedroom. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
