Long Exposure Photography - Fine Art Post Processing - Mappleton Beach VN 49
In todays vlog I show you how I take my long exposure landscape photography followed by how I do the Fine Art Post Processing of my images. Join me on a visit to my local beach at Mappleton where I will walk you through my workflow on how I shoot my long exposure Fine Art Images. I show you how I use slow shutter speed to get motion blur and create silky smooth water giving a great fine art feel to my images. I often get asked what is Fine Art Landscape Photography? It is very subjective and down to the individual looking at it. My take on Fine Art Landscape Photography is that it's a genre that goes beyond documentary photography with personnel creative arty style of photography. It evokes emotions and tells stories through visual narratives often focusing on aspects of landscape. Such as using slow shutter speeds to change the look of water giving a etherial dreamy silky soft magical atmosphere. This why I love Fine Art Photography as it allows me the creative freedom to change the look of a scene and make it my own style! Some of the kit I use for long Exposure Photography starts with a sturdy Tripod and a good set of ND Filters (Neutral Density Filters) plus a CPL Polariser Filter. The most popular ND filter has to be the 10 Stopper and a 6 stopper ND Filter. Using long exposure Fine Art Photography can create Dreamy, Ethereal Surreal images. They may have be dynamic, smooth and Serene in appearance. This can also be great for Minimalism landscapes.
