Vishnu is the supreme Lord, where Azhwars much-worshipped Lord Vishnu, Their divine hymns are popularly known as Nalayira Divya Prabantham, The Divya Prabantham is the form of adoration of deities of 108 temples (Divya Desams) .The shrines where the divine saints Azhwars have sung "Mangalaasaasanam" are called Divya Desams. Azhwars who said to be the hamsam (Incarnations) of Sriman Narayanan have dedicated their lives towards the Emperuman and they led their life by praising and doing Mangalasasanam on Sriman Narayananan. These Azhwars are 12 in number and out of which one is Sri Andal, who is a women. The 106 Divya Desam are categorized based on kingdom: Chozanaattu Thirupadhigal - 40 Nadunaattu Thirupadhigal - 2 Thondainaattu Thirupadhigal - 22 Malainaattu Thiupadhigal – 13 Paandiyanaattu Thirupathigal - 18 Vadanaattu Thirupadhigal - 11 The Azhwars got beautification by darshan the Lord Vishnu, if the pilgrims also follow the way by visiting the temple and do proper worship through meditation and trust on god, which will make the way to beautification it’s a simple belief without suspect.
