Besides, as against interest income of Rs. 39042.05 pension payment is only Rs. 11320.05 crore in the FY, 2019-20 which is 29% of the total interest earned on pooled fund. Hence, the plea made by EPFO that the fund is in deficit is not tenable, Growth of the pooled fund can be seen from the enclosed statement and verified from the official records of EPFO. 5) That, Labor Ministry and Employees Provident Fund Organization are mercilessly playing with the lives of 67 lakhs EPS- 95 Pensioners' family of the country and not enhancing the monthly pension to afford reasonable social security to the senior citizens of the country thereby depriving them from right to life.
