A horrific road accident took place on Saturday afternoon on Haridwar National Highway near the petrol pump of Bisen village of Jahanabad police station area of Pilibhit district. An auto coming from Pilibhit city towards Amariya town and a Fortuner car coming from Amariya to Pilibhit collided fiercely. The speed of the Fortuner was very high. When the tempo came in front, the Fortuner lost its balance and collided head-on. The collision was so strong that a very loud noise was heard. The tempo overturned and fell into the ditch. After the incident, all the airbags of the Fortuner opened. All the people in it are safe and all the people in the car left the car and fled from the spot. At the time of the incident, there were 10 people in the tempo including the driver. Local people pulled out the dead bodies and the injured from the tempo. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started the rescue operation. All the injured were sent to the hospital for treatment. While the dead bodies were sent for postmortem. The accused car driver is being searched. Traffic was operated smoothly at the spot. In the accident, Nagar Panchayat Naugwan Pakadia resident Rajda (45 years) wife Altaf, Hamza (2 years) daughter Sultan, Janisar (15 years) son Jagir Shah and tempo driver Vijay (30 years) son Liladhar resident Khamdia Dalelganj and Farida have died. The injured include deceased Masoom's mother Muskan, Farzand Ali, Sahrina and Faizul, Tahrisha. They are undergoing treatment. All the people were in the tempo. After the incident, the family members of the deceased are crying inconsolably. District Magistrate Gyanendra Singh said that five people have died. The rest are injured.
