BEAUTIFUL BLOWN '59 ALTERED ANGLIA GASSER! SHOW QUALITY! STREET LEGAL! GLORY DAYS BYRON!

Randy Schmitt of the Nickey Performance Gasser Shop is well known for all types of meticulously built custom cars and his '59 Ford Anglia 100e gasser is just another fine example of his craftsmanship! Randy, who had an Anglia in high school always wanted to get another one someday. Scrolling through Facebook's Marketplace in 2017, he came across one in original condition and thus his plan was set in motion. Randy started by fabricating a complete 2×3-inch rectangular frame with chromed Nickey straight front axle and a John’s Industries 9-inch ford rearend with 35-spline axles and 4.56 gears. The anglia's wheelbase has been altered 5 inches in the rear and 4 inches up front. The all-steel tilt front end opens up to reveal a 750 hp 355ci sbc with Brodix aluminum heads and Hampton 6-71 polished blower all built and tuned by Steve Quickel. A Muncie M22 Rock Crusher transmission with a Hurst Super Shifter handles the gear banging duties. The details abound everywhere you look and the Jeff Carmichael custom interior is just another jaw dropping feature.
