Roadtrip around Iceland: Day 2 (Veiðivötn, Sigöldugljúfur, Bláhylur, Ljótipollur) (17.07.2020)

The second day of our journey begins in Stóri Klofi farm. After filling the car up in Hrauneyjar Highland Center (the only gas station in that area!) we take the road F228, which leads us to lots of beautiful fishing lakes (Veiðivötn). Coming back the same route, we turn south onto the F208 road and visit Sigöldugljúfur Canyon as well as crater lakes Bláhylur and Ljótipollur. We wrap up our day at the campsite in Landmannalaugar, where the temperature was 3 degrees Celsius (37 degrees Fahrenheit). Car: Nissan Pathfinder
