Games - Grand Prix 2 (World Circuit) on modern PC

While searching in my storage boxes for something else, I found a stack of CD-Roms from the 90s and within this there was a version of Micropose Grand Prix 2. And it caught my interest, whether it is possible to play this on a modern PC with steering wheel and pedals. Here's my learning about this journey.
