Tops Odyssey - Opening Night - Jailhouse Rock

Tops of The Town Following on from last years sell out production and due to overwhelming popular demand, Tops Odyssey returns to UCH with 'Limerick Tops -- The Celebration Continues' which ran from 2nd to 4th May. This year's production showcased old Tops numbers such as Jail House Rock, One Brick at a Time, One Day More combined with newly devised energetic, swing dance routines and award winning comedy sketches. The show celebrated Limerick's participation and contribution to the Tops of the Town / John Player Tops competition. The event ran over a three day period from the 2nd to 4th May 2007 at the prestigious University Concert Hall in Limerick. It was an entertainment extravaganza, consisting of a two hour variety show each night. The production replicated the traditional format of a Tops show, featuring a combination of song, dance and comedy art forms. Veteran Tops performers along with past producers will join a hundred strong cast in what was a spectacular event.
