In Fall 2019, Helix Dance Crew decided to dedicate our piece to the Asian American experience and the adversities we faced growing up. To the times we were ridiculed for the lunches we brought to school, but now can happily go to any Asian restaurant and say “Let’s Eat!”, or when we constantly bickered with our parents and begged, “Show Me Love!” only to later find that they did in their own ways, but we were just too naive to understand. Today we say "Look at Me Now" as we show how proud we are of our roots, and we hope that you all enjoy and encourage you to never be embarrassed about where you come from!
