These Chord Tones are the notes that make up each Major and Minor Chord or triad. You must always know where your Root Notes are along with the 3rd and the 5th notes of each Chord or Triad in the music or chord progression you are playing. This video lesson is only one strategy on how to quickly find the Root, 3rd, and 5th note of each Chord or Triad.
