wersja PL w part 1 My opinion may be chaotic, but it's a collection of thoughts I wrote down while playing and tried to piece them together. 5/10 1+DLC is a must-play. Then I recommend The Beast, and if u fall in love with this world like I did, then 2nd. Despite its many flaws, there's a lot to do there INTERFACE Every time I launch game, a connection window to Epic pops up twice, even though I'm launching it on Steam and there's a video with developer advertising frying pan as weapon well-made map inv limit doesn't show what it's actually like map keyboard layout carried over from 2 instead of 1 GRAPHICS Attention to detail, for example, I left trail in water between seaweed Good graphics and high detail COMBAT Poorly designed hitboxes. Zombies are like hitting a wall with a slashing weapon well-executed zombie dmg visuals poorly designed ranged Chimeras fleeing with pumped-up HP versus ur machetes, because ranged weapons are unavailable due to lack of million materials, bullets, and arrows you need to break that million artificial HP pistol is more powerful than machine gun tragically designed arrow change in bow. Good luck figuring out how to do that uneven Chimera lvls, each subsequent Chimera should be more difficult, but randomly, it's sometimes too difficult, sometimes too trivial increasing the difficulty lvl by limiting the player's equipment to 3 bandages in fight against the beast. It was easy for me, but difficulty lvl could be adjusted differently final fight. Phase 1 involves dodging 1 attack and pumping up Baron's HP. Phase 2 is trivial with useless ranged weapons, supposedly with much better stats, but melee weapons deal 10x more dmg SOUND Poor PL voice acting, especially from new main character MISSION DESIGN Artificial, very weak dialogue Poorly designed missions. Bad descriptions and markers. Missions involve running halfway across map just to hear 1 sentence and get a new marker on the other side of map, when all u had to do was radio. Missions activated with Witcher Senses, u won't see the marker or activation until u use them Pointless abandoned convoys. U've to kill million zombies to find 10 ammo, 2 medkits, and 2 weapons u can't use because u're out of ammo Weak final segment mission, which breaks immersion, terribly empty locations Level cap for main missions Each replay in mine gives you new ammo, so u can farm million ammo and other items WORLD DESIGN After death, u spawn in random spot on the other side of map Well-designed locations in terms of visuals Constant running from 1 side of map to the other STORY Shallow, uninteresting plot, kill chimeras to kill Baron Side missions are much more interesting and better-done than plot GAMEPLAY Weird parkour feel Poor character development, small and meaningless perks that I don't need Terrible AI for humans, they can see in dark and through walls. + Ultra Instinct. + 2x the range of urs. + Rifles vs. ur machete Well-designed stealth. But only on zombies A very big problem with ingredients for crafting weapon mods. 90% of time u have to use regular weapons, and once u have weapon with mod, it wears out too quickly Unfixed bugs from 1 game with floating objects and poorly designed hitboxes Fun driving and running over zombies. Reminds me of good old days of Carmageddon Inability to load at least last 2 saves. I didn't change my equipment before last mission, and that was it. It didn't bother me, but if someone doesn't take anything at all, they'll lose all gameplay. unacceptable bug Tragically hidden final sidequest with races. Reward is a repair kit, which is no longer needed at end of the game Poorly designed clothing where only traits matter, not defense About 45h to complete all side and main missions. -8h that I lost on one mission described above. So I think it can be completed in 30 or 35h. 17 of 33 achievements unlocked without focusing on them. Throughout entire game, I practically only used 3 weapons: pistol, because it deals the most dmg from firearms, bow/crossbow with fire arrows, and one-handed sword, because despite bad hitboxes, it still provides most satisfaction from dmging zombies. Rest of weapons are useless and unspectacular. It's clear that this was actually meant to be a DLC for 2, not a full-fledged game, and one made on the cheap, because it's just slightly tweaked version of the following from 1. 5/10 Comparison with previous games from best to worst: Zombie AI: The Beast, 2, 1 Human AI: 2, 1, The Beast Melee Combat: 1, 2, The Beast Firearm Combat: 1, The Beast, 2 Parkour: 2, 1, The Beast Skill Tree: 1, 2, The Beast Sense of Terror and Survival: 1, 2, The Beast Number of Activities, Terrain Density: 2, 1, The Beast Sound Design: 1, 2, The Beast Voice Acting and Emotional Conveyance: 1, 2, The Beast Interface: 1, 2, The Beast Story: 1, 2, The Beast Grappling Hook: 1, 2, the beast graphics: the beast, 1, 2
