New York Trio Tried To Join ISIS - Feb 26, 2015

Three Brooklyn men have been arrested and charged with conspiring to join ISIS. Two of the men had planned to travel to Syria to fight on behalf of the group, with one of them arrested at JFK airport, where he was attempting to board a flight to Turkey. The three men, two from Uzbekistan and one from Kazakhstan, had allegedly reached out to Daesh, offering to shoot police officers, FBI personnel and even president Barack Obama. The trio will face charges that include attempting and conspiring to provide material support and resources to a foreign terrorist organisation.
