Quick and easy to make, and they look like a proper Christmas centerpiece. Perfect for a holiday table. Recipe (14 trees + 14 stars): Puff pastry — 600 g (I had 2 × 300 g) Butter — 60 g Sugar — 60 g Cinnamon — 2–2.5 tsp Vanilla to taste Egg — 1 Milk — 1 tbsp Powdered sugar Ready-made icing (optional) Roll the pastry to 2–3 mm. Mix butter, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon and spread a thin layer. On one edge spread a very thin layer or don't spread at all (for the stars). Cut into 2–2.5 cm strips and fold to form trees. Leave 1 strip and make stars. Brush everything with egg wash. Bake at 190°C for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden.
