#VTV #varendra_tv # Journalist সাংবাদিকের উপর হামলা,(   • সাংবাদিকের উপর হামলা,রাস্তা অবরোধ | Attack...  )রাস্তা অবরোধ | Attack on journalist, road blockade in Rajshahi ✩ Subscribe Us:    / @varendratv   ✩ Follow Us:   / varendratv     / varendratv   http://varendra.tv If you have any concern or advise about this TV talk show program please leave your comments. মূল ধারার সাংবদিকদেও উপর হামলাকারী ভুইফোঁড় কথিত সাংবাদিকদের গ্রেপ্তার ও বোয়ালিয়া থানার ওসিকে প্রত্যাহারের দাবিতে বিক্ষোভ মূল ধারার সাংবদিকদেও উপর হামলাকারী ভুইফোঁড় কথিত সাংবাদিকদের গ্রেপ্তার আর এদের প্রশ্রয়দানকারী নগরীর বোয়ালিয়া থানার ওসিকে প্রত্যাহারের দাবিতে সড়ক অবরোধ কওে বিক্ষোভ করেছে সাংবাদিকরা । রোববার বেলা ১১টায় নগরীর অন্যতম প্রধান ব্যস্ততম এলাকা শহীদ এএইচএম কামারুজ্জামান চত্বরে রাস্তা অবরোধ করে সাংবাদিকরা অবস্থান নেন। বিকাল পৌনে ৫টার দিকে তিনজনকে গ্রেপ্তার ও বোয়ালিয়া থানার ওসিকে প্রত্যাহারের আশ্বাসে অবরোধ তুলে নেয় সাংবাদিকরা। ওবিবার সকাল সাড়ে ১০টার দিকে শহীদ কামারুজ্জামান চত্বরে রাজশাহী শিক্ষাবোর্ডের কয়েকজন কর্মকর্তার অপসারণের দাবিতে মানববন্ধনের আয়োজন করেন রাজশাহী বরেন্দ্র প্রেসক্লাব নামের একটি ভুঁইফোড় প্রেসক্লাব। এসব কর্মকর্তাদের অভিযোগ, সাংবাদিক পরিচয়ে কিছু ব্যক্তি চাঁদা না পেয়ে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে মানববন্ধন করছে । তারা রাজশাহীর পেশাদার সাংবাদিকদের এ বিষয়ে হস্তক্ষেপ কামনা করেন। রাজশাহী সাংবাদিক ইউনিয়নের সভাপতি রফিকুল ইসলামসহ কয়েকজন সাংবাদিক ঘটনা স্থলে গিয়ে এসব কর্মকাণ্ড থেকে বিরত থাকার আহবান জানানোর পরপরই পুলিশের সামনেই রফিকুল ইসলামের ওপর চড়াও হন কথিত সাংবাদিকেরা। তাকে রক্ষায় এগিয়ে গেলে দৈনিক সানশাইননের স্টাফ রিপোর্টার রাজু আহমেদকেও লাঞ্ছিত করা হয়। ভুক্তভোগিদেও অভিযোগ পুলিশের সহযোগিতা চাইলে উল্ট তাদের সঙ্গে অশালিন আচরণ করেন বোয়ালিয়া থানান ওসি । এদিকে এর প্রতিবাদে বেলা ১১টায় কামারুজ্জামান চত্বরে রাস্তায় বসে পড়েন ক্ষুব্ধ সাংবাদিকরা। বন্ধ হয়ে যায় যান চলাচল। দুপুরের দিকে পুলিশের কয়েকজন ঊর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তা এবং নগর আওয়ামী লীগের সাধারণ সম্পাদক ডাবলু সরকারসহ সাংবাদিক নেতৃবৃন্দরা নগর পুলিশ কমিশনার আবু কালাম সিদ্দিকের সাথে আলোচনায় দাবি মেনে নেওয়ার আশ্বাস দিলেও তাৎক্ষণিক কোন পদক্ষেপ না নেওয়ায় সাংবাদিকরা বৈঠক থেকে বেরিয়ে যান। বিকেল পৌনে ৫টার দিকে পুলিশের পক্ষ থেকে সাংবাদিকদের জানানো হয়, হামলাকারী ফারুক, লিয়াকত আর রেজাউলকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। এছাড়াও তিন দিনের মধ্যে ওসি নিবারনকে প্রত্যাহার করার আশ্বাস দেন। এরপর সাংবাদিকরা অবরোধ তুলে নেওয়া ঘোষণা দেয়। Demonstration demanding arrest of alleged journalists and withdrawal of OC of Boalia Police Station Journalists have staged a road blockade demanding the arrest of the alleged journalists who attacked the mainstream journalists and the withdrawal of the OC of Boalia police station in the city. Journalists blocked the road at Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman Chattar, one of the busiest areas of the city, at 11am on Sunday. Journalists lifted the blockade at around 5:15 pm, promising to arrest the three and withdraw the OC of Boalia police station. A groundbreaking press conference called Rajshahi Barindra Press Club was organized at 10:30 am on Thursday at Shaheed Kamaruzzaman Chattar demanding removal of some officials of Rajshahi Education Board. These officials allege that some people in the guise of journalists are carrying out human chain against them without getting any money. They sought the intervention of professional journalists in Rajshahi. Rafiqul Islam, president of the Rajshahi Journalists' Union, and several other journalists went to the spot and called for refraining from such activities. The alleged journalists attacked Rafiqul Islam in front of the police. Raju Ahmed, a staff reporter of the daily Sunshineon, was also assaulted while trying to protect him. Boalia Thana OC treated the victims indecently when they asked for the cooperation of the police. Meanwhile, angry journalists sat on the street at Kamaruzzaman Square at 11am in protest. Traffic was stopped. Around noon, some senior police officials and journalist leaders, including Nagar Awami League general secretary Dablu Sarkar, promised to meet the demands in talks with city police commissioner Abu Kalam Siddique, but the journalists walked out of the meeting as no immediate action was taken. The attackers Farooq, Liaquat and Rezaul have been arrested, police told reporters around 5:15 p.m. The OC also promised to withdraw Nibaran within three days. Journalists then announced the lifting of the blockade.
