Refugees: Security Threat To APEC

With the APEC Leaders’ Summit just a week away, the security exercise is in full swing. Part of that exercise was the repatriation of refugees back to Manus province, as they were seen as a threat to the APEC Leaders’ Summit. This has not gone down well with the Catholic Professionals Society, who were part of a forum that gave refugees a voice to air their concerns and treatment on Manus Island, and the delay in resettling them in a new country
