Tomb Raider 2 100% Playthrough: Mission 17 - The Dragon's Lair

Tomb Raider 2 100% Playthrough: Mission 17 - The Dragon's Lair. It's been 2 months now since I published the last 2 missions! But now I am! Information about the dragon and tips of how to defeat him: The dragon is the biggest and the most difficult boss of the game. The dragon can spray fire from his mouth so you need to avoid the fire to not get burned! The fastest way of how to defeat him is to jump sideward (which side doesn't matter) while the dragon sprays fire on you so you can avoid the stream of fire and shoot him at the same time. This way can be difficult to use if you're not practised but the way of how you defeat the dragon should not matter so much unless you can avoid the fire and defeat him. You can run around him and then shoot him and then avoid his fire when he sprays his fire on you. Then you can run around him again. Do as you want, it doesn't matter because the most important thing with the whole battle is to avoid the fire from the dragon. I avoided the fire easily anyway! Don't stay on Marco Bartoli while he becomes a dragon because the power from the dagger can make you fall from a high height and die. But you can stay quite near his body, you will not die because the power will push you back instead. But I started backflipping backwards anyway before Marco Bartoli turned into the dragon! There are 10 Uzi Clips and 2 Large Medi Packs you can pick up in the water but be careful, it may be difficult to get up from the water again because the dragon can spray his fire on you while you're trying to get up from the water and you can still be injured even if you're in the water. I picked up everything in the water after defeating the dragon anyway because it's much easier that way and they all count for 100% too! When you've finally beat him and he falls, hurry up to his belly and press the action button (Ctrl) to pull out the Dagger of Xian from the dragon's belly like I did. When you've pulled out the Dagger of Xian and the dragon dies, the place will start to collapse so you have to be careful and run to the exit door to end the mission. How much ammo you need to kill the dragon when using ALL the weapons: Pistols: As much as you need with Uzis. I don't use Pistols anyway. They are useless now. Uzis are much better! Shotgun: 18 shotgun shells. Automatic Pistols: 160 bullets. Uzis: 350 bullets. I only use these Uzis to kill the dragon anyway! They are the best for me to kill the dragon with! Harpoon Gun: No idea, but many harpoons I think. Anyway, I never use the Harpoon Gun anyway on the dragon. It is useless now too and should be used underwater anyway. Uzis are much better I said anyway! :) M-16: Approximately 110 bullets. Grenade Launcher: 10 grenades. I hope that this information will help you when defeating the dragon! Kills: 11 (4 running spear guardians, 6 knife throwing cult members, 1 Dragon Final Boss.) Pickups: 25 (1 small medi pack, 4 large medi packs, 18 uzi clips.) (Including the Mystic Plaque.) (Including the Dagger of Xian!) Secrets: None! ALL 48/48 Found! 5:19 up to 7:59 -- Final Boss -- The Dragon! 8:07 up to 9:23 -- Picking up the LAST 12 Items in the water afterwards. 10 Uzi clips, and 2 Large Medi Packs. 9:32 up to 10:40 -- Total Items left over after The Dragon's Lair: Pistols: Unlimited Ammo. Shotgun: 35 Shells. Automatic Pistols: 246 Bullets. Uzis: 1880 Bullets. Harpoon Gun: 14 Harpoons. M-16: 33 Bullets. Grenade Launcher: 96 Grenades. Small Medi Packs: 55 (There were 57, but I only used 2. ---- 1 in Mission 8 - Wreck of the Maria Doria, ----- and 1 in Mission 10 - The Deck!) Large Medi Packs: 43 (None used.) 57 Small Medi Packs + 43 Large Medi Packs = 100! I decided to put it in the description just to let you all know! Flares: 24 I didn't need to put Mission Statistics because they always show at the end of the missions! :) All kills, all pick ups, 100%.
