Independence Day Speech | Happy Independence Day 2024 India is all set to celebrate her 76th Independence Day on 15 August 2022. The government has launched 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to commemorate 75 years of independence. So, we'll be celebrating 75th anniversary of our Independence Day. Independence Day is celebrated annually on August 15.  It marks the end of British rule in 1947 and the establishment of a free and independent Indian nation. Independence Day is marked throughout India with flag-raising ceremonies, drills, and the singing of the Indian national anthem. After that the prime minister participates in the flag-raising ceremony at the Red Fort  in Old Delhi and a parade takes place with members of the armed forces and police. Various cultural programs are organized in the state capitals. The president delivers the '"Address to the Nation" on the eve of Independence Day. Let’s salute the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and soldiers who made us realize the dream of an independent and unified India. We pay tribute to these heroic personalities today.
