TrackDaze 20130518 Summit Point Shenandoah Blue Group session 2

Summit Point Motorsports Park TrackDaze 18 May 2013 Blue Group Session 2 This session my instructor had me getting my eyes forward through the carrousel and into big bend. When I did it right I carried a ton of extra speed through the back straight (so much more that I had to adjust my braking point quite a bit earlier). I definitely used more of the car this session than I ever have before (just based on the feedback from the tires). I need a bit more commitment into big bend to maximize the back straight. I could also probably push a later braking point into the hook if I straighten out my entry between the right and left curbs and get a bit of trail-brake rotation at the entry. Also, I scared the crap out of myself going over the rise after bridge. Keeping my foot planted with the engine in high boost when the car gets light you can hear the wheels spin up, what you don't realize is the car launches forward after getting weight back on the wheels and that is right about my braking point for carrousel (the rear of the car was getting pretty busy under hard braking).
