Did CGC Damage My Book? Unboxing High Grade(ish) Silver Age Key Comics...
In this video I share my recent CGC submission unboxing. This is the first time I have sent to CGC in a long time as I had some High Grade Silver Age Keys that depending on the grades could get significantly big values (which is why I sent them in). Unfortunately I didn't hit what I was hoping for. One of the books I sent in I actually thought I had a chance to get a 9.6 maybe a 9.8 because it came from the same collection of books where I got 9.8's previously. But not only did I not get the grades, I also think CGC (or USPS) might have damaged my books during the handling process. Have you guys ever had something like this happen? How have you responded? I show you why I think that is the case in this video. I also talk about submitting in different value tiers. I wonder if that is why I didn't get the grades I thought I would. Have you found submitting to different tiers yields different grading results?
