This stylish and comfortable outfit is perfect for summer and festive occasions. From marking measurements to the final stitching—this step-by-step tutorial is beginner-friendly and easy to follow. Materials Needed: • Cotton printed fabric – 1.5 meters (for both top and palazzo) • Matching thread • Elastic (for palazzo waist) – 1 inch wide, 20 inches long • Fabric chalk/pencil • Measuring tape • Paper for drafting • Pins • Scissors • Sewing machine • Iron Measurements for 4–5 Years Baby Girl: Top: • Chest: 23 inches • Length: 13 inches (including shoulder straps) • Waist round: 22 inches • Shoulder strap: 4 inches each Palazzo: • Waist: 22 inches • Length: 22 inches • Bottom flared section height: 8 inches • Thigh round: 15 inches Cutting Steps: Top Cutting: 1. Fold fabric and mark chest width (half of 23 = 11.5 inches + 1 inch for seam) and length (13 inches). 2. Shape armhole and neckline. 3. Cut two pieces (front and back). 4. For the peplum layer: cut a rectangle (waist length 44 inches, height 7 inches) to gather and attach at the waist. 5. Cut 2 strips for shoulder straps (length 8 inches, width 2 inches each). Palazzo Cutting: 1. Fold fabric and mark waist width (11.5 inches), thigh (7.5 inches), and length (22 inches). 2. Draw a palazzo shape with light flare at the bottom. 3. Cut two pieces. 4. For the flared hem: cut 2 rectangles (width 30 inches, height 8 inches each) and gather them for the bottom attachment. Stitching Steps: Top Stitching: 1. Attach shoulder straps to front and back pieces. 2. Join side seams and finish armhole and neckline with piping or facing. 3. Gather the peplum piece and attach it to the top's lower edge. 4. Finish the bottom hem. Palazzo Stitching: 1. Join front and back pieces at the sides and crotch. 2. Attach gathered flare at the bottom of both legs. 3.
