The country was slammed by yet another powerful earthquake on Tuesday,... less than three weeks after it was devastated by the first seven-point-eight magnitude tremor that killed more than eight-thousand people. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the second earthquake measured at a magnitude of seven-point-three struck near Mount Everest early Tuesday, local time, and was followed by two separate aftershocks. Authorities say the death toll has reached at least 50, while another 12-hundred have been injured. This as the country has been desperately trying to recover and rebuild... ahead of the monsoon season which starts next month. Meanwhile, a U.S. military helicopter sent to support relief efforts in Nepal has gone missing, with as many as eight people believed to be on board. The Korean government says it will send an emergency response team to Nepal later today. Title: N. Korea′s missile firing poses ′serious challenge′ to East Asia′s stability: Pres. Park Tensions continue to mount over North Korea′s recent experimental firing of a submarine-launched ballistic missile.
