I loved this song from the moment I heard it many decades ago. For me, it evokes being relaxed and in rhythm with the waves on a beautiful beach, under blue sunny skies. Maybe even dancing to the Bossa Nova beat as the sun goes down. The music was composed by Brazilian song writer and multi-instrumentalist, Antonio Carlos Jobim, in 1962. It was a worldwide hit in the mid-1960s and won a Grammy for Record of the Year in 1965. I hope you enjoy this!
