Man Fatally Shot at Wheaton Metro Parking Garage

Montgomery County police have identified the man who was fatally shot at the Wheaton Metro parking garage on Tuesday night and they say two teens have been charged with his murder. Police identified the victim as Eric Melgar, age 20. Police have also identified the suspects who are charged with first degree murder in this case as 19-year-old Douglas Chase and 18-year-old Brent Sanderson. Police said the suspects were taken into custody shortly after the shooting last night. Police have not released any information about a motive in this case. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
