Cook Family Park is a stunning new 25-acre Parks and Recreation destination located in the heart of Pleasant Grove, Utah. Thoughtfully designed to foster community connection, outdoor activity, and imaginative play, this one-of-a-kind park sets a new standard for public spaces in Utah County. Big T Recreation was proud to serve as a key member of the project team, bringing expertise in the development of the park’s signature features, including the expansive playground, themed splash pad, custom pavilions, shade structures, site furnishings, and versatile sports amenities. At the heart of the park lies a truly remarkable playground spanning more than 27,000 square feet—making it one of the largest and most thematically creative play environments in the region. Featuring over 20 custom-designed elements, the playground celebrates the native wildlife of the nearby Pleasant Grove mountains, immersing children in a rich and engaging natural theme. Complementing the playground is a spectacular 10,000-square-foot splash pad, anchored by a one-of-a-kind custom Viking Ship. This iconic centerpiece includes an imaginative dragon head spray feature and a water sail mast, providing an unforgettable aquatic experience for children of all ages.
