People Around the World March For Equality on International Women’s Day

Marches to raise awareness of gender inequality took place in countries around the world to mark International Women’s Day. For more than a century people have marked 8 March as a special day for women everywhere. This year is the 109th International Women’s Day and the theme is equal opportunities for all.
