Tulwar knuckle guard repair

Our client was devastated when the knuckle guard snapped off his Tulwar sword hilt. Instead of leaving it gathering dust in a closet, he requested that we repair the hilt especially as the sword had sentimental value. The client also wanted the repair to be strong so that it would not break again. After some careful thermal isolation and a combination of hot welding techniques we managed to achieve a solid result. To reduce the obvious appearance of a recent repair we lightly adjusted patination around the worked area. www.wootz.co
