দেশজুড়ে প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের সহকারী শিক্ষক নিয়োগ পরীক্ষা ঘিরে কড়াকড়ি নিরাপত্তার মধ্যেই সামনে এসেছে একের পর এক অনিয়মের চিত্র। অসদুপায় অবলম্বনের অভিযোগে চারটি জেলায় অন্তত সাতজনকে আটক করা হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে কাউকে কারাদণ্ড, কাউকে জরিমানা, আবার কয়েকজনকে পরীক্ষাকেন্দ্র থেকে বহিষ্কার করা হয়েছে। শুক্রবার, ৯ জানুয়ারি সারা দেশে একযোগে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় প্রাথমিক শিক্ষক নিয়োগ পরীক্ষা। অন্যান্য জেলার মতো যশোর, টাঙ্গাইল, গোপালগঞ্জ ও চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জেও অনিয়মের ঘটনায় প্রশাসন নেয় তাৎক্ষণিক ব্যবস্থা। যশোরে সবচেয়ে গুরুতর ঘটনা ঘটে সরকারি মহিলা কলেজ কেন্দ্রে। ডিজিটাল ডিভাইস ব্যবহার করে নকল করার সময় ইশতিয়াক আহমেদ নামে এক পরীক্ষার্থীকে হাতেনাতে আটক করেন ভ্রাম্যমাণ আদালত। পরে তাকে ১৫ দিনের বিনাশ্রম কারাদণ্ড দেওয়া হয়। একই জেলায় ইসলামীয়া বালিকা বিদ্যালয় কেন্দ্রে প্রক্সি দিতে এসে বেলাল হোসেন খান নামে আরেকজন ধরা পড়েন। তার বিরুদ্ধে আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ার প্রস্তুতি চলছে। ----------------------------------------------------------- Amid tight security around the primary school assistant teacher recruitment exam across the country, one after another irregularities have come to light. At least seven people have been arrested in four districts on charges of cheating. Some of them have been sentenced to prison, some have been fined, and some have been expelled from the exam centers. The primary teacher recruitment exam was held simultaneously across the country on Friday, January 9. Like other districts, the administration took immediate action in Jessore, Tangail, Gopalganj, and Chapainawabganj in the wake of irregularities. The most serious incident in Jessore occurred at the Government Women's College Center. A mobile court caught an examinee named Ishtiaq Ahmed red-handed while he was cheating using a digital device. He was later sentenced to 15 days in prison. Another person named Belal Hossain Khan was caught giving a proxy at the Islamia Girls' School Center in the same district. Preparations are underway to take legal action against him.
