Sunday, December 21, 2025 • 10:50 am Defending Immigrants With Guest Speaker Priscilla Marco in the Pulpit ​ The crisis of immigrants in peril compels us all to act in different ways. Our speaker, Priscilla Marco is the Community Engagement Coordinator of Trinity Lutheran Church and as of May 2025, became the Legal Counsel for the newly formed Trinity Immigration and Citizenship Team, created to respond to the crisis. In that capacity, she has represented juveniles in Family Court in Staten Island who are seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) and is preparing herself to do Asylum hearings. She recently visited Delaney Hall Detention Center in Newark NJ to interview Sara Gomez for her successful Habeas Corpus petition. Priscilla is the daughter of an Irish Immigrant to the US and feels very strongly that immigrants should be entitled to due process in immigration proceedings.
