to relieve boredom reading one of my absolutely favorite books by Edward Gorey. This book, it is said is about bringing a child into the home. For me it is remarkably special because my sister, who is 3 years older than I gave it to me on my 17th birthday. My mother's friend, Pat Kazi had works by Edward Gorey laying around her historic home. I remember looking at them and feeling transported into a different magical world. Being in Pat's home had already changed my reality for that day. I hope you get at least a short glimpse of that feeling by listening to this incredible story.
